For the love of Christ controls us...that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
— 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (ESV)

Conscience: What It Is, How to Train It, and Loving Those Who Differ

by Andrew David Naselli and J. D. Crowley

What do you do when you disagree with other Christians? How do you determine which convictions are negotiable and which are not? How do you get along with people who have different personal standards?

All of these questions have to do with the conscience. Yet there is hardly a more neglected topic among Christians. In this much needed book, a New Testament scholar and a cross-cultural missionary explore all 30 passages in the New Testament that deal with the conscience, showing how your conscience impacts virtually every aspect of life, ministry, and missions. As you come to see your conscience as a gift from God and learn how to calibrate it under the lordship of Jesus Christ, you will not only experience the freedom of a clear conscience but also discover how to lovingly interact with those who hold different convictions.

Five Lies of Our Anti-Christian Age

by Rosaria Butterfield

Modern culture is increasingly outspoken against a biblical understanding of what it means to be a woman. Even some Christians, swayed by the LGBTQ+ movement, have rejected God’s word on issues of sexuality and gender in favor of popular opinion. In light of these pressures, it’s more important than ever to help women see the truth about who God created them to be.

In this powerful book, Rosaria Butterfield uses Scripture to confront 5 common lies about sexuality, faith, feminism, gender roles, and modesty often promoted in our secular culture today. Written in the style of a memoir, this book explores Butterfield’s personal battle with these lies—interwoven with cultural studies, literary criticism, and theology—to help readers see the beauty in biblical womanhood, marriage, and motherhood.

To Be a Woman: The Confusion over Female Identity and How Christians Can Respond

by Katie J. McCoy

We live in a cultural moment where the definition of “woman” eludes the keenest of thinkers and brightest of scientists, where one’s biological sex and one’s gender are divorced, where the meaning of gender itself is a constantly moving target, and where girls and women, especially, struggle to know who they are.

In these pages, Katie will help you understand:

Why, as a culture, we’ve arrived in such a place of gender confusion. What the relationship is between biological sex and gender, and why this relationship is so crucial. The truth about gender transitioning, including the irreversible damage of hormone therapy on the female human body. Common myths and misunderstandings in the gender debate. What Scripture and science have to say on the matter. Ways to respond in a Christlike way to loved ones struggling with gender identity.

Trusting God

by Jerry Bridges

When our circumstances defy explanation, it is difficult to untangle our emotions from the truth. Before long, we feel confused and frustrated. We doubt His care for us. We wonder how He could allow these circumstances at all, or if He is really in control. During a time of darkness and adversity in his own life, Jerry Bridges dug deep into the Bible for answers on God’s sovereignty. What he learned changed his life—and it will change yours too. Find the answers to some of your most heartfelt questions, such as:

Is God in control? Can I trust God? What is our responsibility when things are hard? How can I grow through adversity?

Explore the scope of God’s care and control over nations, nature, and the tiny details of your life. You’ll find yourself trusting Him more completely—even when life hurts.
